Start with xp:

Marhand - for taking the brunt of the damage again and for collecting odd things - 2400xp

Keshen - for lots of good questions and information - 2400xp

Hipolet - for profound silence - 1300xp

Enzo - powerful magic does it again - 1000xp

You can discuss what you do in the town. Ask questions of Damon. Talk to the refugees.

The town of Alesund looks to have about 9,000 residents. Almost all are human barbarians. It appears as if about 20% of the inhabitants are relatively new. Meaning since the problems started several years ago.

Marhand to the Giants: "I do not see the benefit of building a partial wall around a city. Do you intend to build the wall around the entire city?"

Damon responds, "I will eventually build the rest of it. Stones large enough to make a difference to a giant assault are hard to get down here. But the wall serves another purpose. It breaks the polar wind that assails the town in winter."

Marhand to Markel: "What do you know about these black haired frost giants? Anything that we could use in battle against them? Anything that would help us find them?"

Markel responds, "They are more brutish than the standard giants. Some live normally among their kin, others live more savagely in the wild. My instinct would be to kill any we see on sight...And that's even more so than my instinct to kill the normal variety giant."

"If they are in the area, finding them should not be difficult. As K'shen said, they stand out against the white. From every encounter I've had with them, one, and from tales I've heard, they will come and attack if they see us."

"I'd say fight them like you fight a Berserker. They will rage and furio8usly attack. Wait them out and then take them out."

Enzo: "Damon, can you direct us to any refugees who came from the fartherest town to the North

To Markel, "Interesting strategy, but how does one 'wait out' a rampaging giant? Do they exhibit the same vulnerability to fire as the typically frost giant?"

Markel replies, "Run and hide. Cause him to fly into a rage against a summoned creature. There are plenty of ways."

"Yes, they are hurt badly by fire."

"You will have to talk with Hewen. He is in charge of taking the names and stories of the refugees. He is a human. The town's tax collector."
