I feel after the horrible ritual at birth and the rigorous training throughout theit lives that a spartan warrior would have much higher abilities scores then the average person. Str: 16 Dex: 16 Con: 16 Int: 13 Wis: 12 Cha: 10 HP: 6d10+18+6 (57) AC: 18 (19) Dex+3, Armor +2, Shield +3 (4, If in formation) Movement: 30 Saves: Fortitude: +8 Reflex: +5 Will: +5 Attacks: Shortspear: 9,4 (1d6+3) If in Formation: 11,6 (1d6+3) (They will often power attack in formation which would make the attacks: 9,4 (1d6+5) Short Sword: 9,4 (1d6+3) Shield Bash: 10,5 (1d4+3) Skills Climb: +11 Jump: +11 Intimidate: +10 Tumble: +6 Special Fighter Training for Spartans: Loses proficiencies in Heavy Armor, Medium Armor, and Missile Weapons. Gains Combat Reflexes, Shield Specialization, Improved Toughness, Ironwill. Feats: Human: Power Attack 1st Level: Improved Shield Bash 1st Level Fighter: Agile Shield Fighter 2nd Level Fighter: Hold the Line 4th Level Fighter: Shied Charge 6th Level Fighter: Formation Expert Equipment: Light Spartan Armor : Consists of Leg Braces, Helm, and Bracers +2 AC, No AC check Penalty, 10% AC Failure Master Work Heavy Shield ( I am going to say a MW shield also gives a bonus to attack on a shield bash) Short Spear Short Sword    Report

03-10-2007, 11:59 PM DM Derek Joined on 06-03-2005 Always with my Dice Posts 4,359 Re: Stat a Spartan Warrior I think they would all have the Implacable Anti-feat (-1 penalty to all rolls if you leave combat) Some might have the Warrior of the Phalanx anti-feat (-4 when not adjacent to and ally). They woudl probably take the Shieldmate feat as a balance (bonuses when fighting next to an ally with a shield) The hand that rolls the dice rules the world.    Report

I would was looking for ways to give them more feats and forgot about the anti-feats. What extra feat would you give to make up for the Implacable Anti-feat? Maybe weapon focus spear? Also what does shield mate do and what book is it in. I can't find it.    Report
