(On a side note, I will be giving out post xp for the last two months on Monday night, so if anyone is close to next level, keep posting relevantly. I will also be giving out xp for those who can relay names and plans from the boards during the game.)
Ellic asks again, "Do we know the name of this orc called Riot, or shuold I use some divinations to discover it? If you (Ajax) go out to confront him but can't call him by a recognizable name, will he respond?"
Tali says, "Before the battle, I will cast a spell linking nine of use telepathically. Ellic, myself, the gnoll commander, Laurel, the thorn leader, Martin, Ajax, Haas, and a Scalehome sorcerer. That same sorcerer will use a similar spell to be in contact with himself, the lead spellcaster from the Fironi, the halfling's from Owt, the gnoll cleric of Dedestroyt, and myself. I would like more, but we are the only two capable of casting the spell needed, and we can only have one active at a time. Does anyone think we should change any of the recipients?
The main problem will be communication with the ogres." Tali continues, "That is why I suggest Ajax lead them after he has issued his warning."
Ellic reveals, "I will have three battlements magically constructed. A bank of trees for the fey, a large hill for the Fironi, and a pillar for my command. I am told there are other powerful battlefield spells, but none of my spellcasters has access to them, so this will have to do."
He continues, "so that you know, we have twenty significant arcane spellcasters in our force. We have a large number of clerics, 24 of which I would call significant. We have no artillary in the traditional sense. We have no cavalry. We have no aerial units. We are outnumbered and out experienced." he sighs, "What that means is that our victory will be on of the greatest in history."
The hand that rolls the dice rules the world.
