For 6 days, I take that mithral and craft a statue of a noble icefian snow hare with a cape. On the cape are lightning bolts.
I do the work day by day. I roll a 49 for my craft (sculpting) check for the body. A 55 for the cape on the second day. A ridiculous 60 for the face on the third day. A 47 for the chest on the 4th day. A 57 for the feet on the 5th. A 50 for the tail on the 6th.
On the 7th day I rest.
I then appraise it on the next day. I roll a 36 on my appraisal.
(OOC: according to my best research, the value of a standard item is three times the value of the starting components. The other two thirds comes from the time spent and skill of the crafter.)
