During the time at Cergoyle he is very content to lock himself away and spend some time crafting. After the first couple of days he offers Ajax a special ungeant to put on the skin that he has to preserve it. He also asks to see the staff again.    Report

As for the staff, which is actually a rod of some sort,it allowed him to change whatever he decided to spew out. Not so useful for us." "Haas, can you ask Brother Krilk if there are any wizards or sorcerers among his ranks or in the town? Some of the parts that we collected would be very useful for someone with those types of talents. If there are any, perhaps we could go and speak with them."    Report

It is over six feet tall. It is wide, but not nearly so much as Krilk. Its stone is slate colored and its features are jagged. His face is angular with horns that go straight back. It would seem the pursuit of perfection reaches those in even the most remote locations. I find myself in a difficult position Gernok. I have traveled long and far, and find I am short on supplies and even shorter on coin. What I do have are some items I have created along the way and some very interesting components collected as well. Perhaps we could find a way to use our talents to help one another."    Report

If you have the time I will try and explain or show you what I am capable of creating. May I ask you a question? Are you a spellcaster of some sort? While I am pleasantly surprised to find another alchemist to speak with I am unsure if Krilk understood my intentions."    Report

I occasionally imbue potions with properties of certain metals like silver and iron. I am afraid I have strayed from the initial purpose of your visit. Do you know what these are?(He shows him an eye, tooth, and scale) These items when used by someone with the right abilities can create formidable protections and wondrous abilities and weapons.
